The flat earth theory is wrong, says author Peter De Jong, a professor at Stanford University.
It’s just another myth about the Earth that people believe because it’s been passed down from generation to generation.
Dejong’s book Flat Earths: The Real History Behind the Theory and the Scientific Evidence is the first comprehensive account of the theory since the late 1960s.
It details its history, the theories and evidence for its existence, and the scientists and scholars who support it.
He also lays out his own theory about the origins of the earth and the cosmos.
Dejong was an editor of a journal devoted to the flat earth called The Earth and the Universe, published by the American Physical Society.
His book tells the story of his time as a professor of science at the University of Texas at Austin.
His flat earth idea was born in the 1960s and 70s.
He was in a class of geologists when the professor said, “There’s a big hole in the ground right next to this hole.
That hole is a flat earth.”
And the professor came back and said, Well, you know, the Earth is flat.
The geologists laughed.
The flat-earthers, they thought it was a joke.
De Jong said that it’s important to understand that this was a serious question about the existence of a planet that didn’t exist.
They said, You have to be kidding.
And he said, That’s a serious claim.
They didn’t have a problem with the flat-earth idea.
He said they had no problem with flat earths.
They just thought the earth was round.
De Jung’s book also details the scientific research into the origins and nature of the universe, including the origin of the sun and its moon, the Big Bang and the Big Crunch.
The book includes the famous quote from Isaac Newton, who said, In order to know whether the earth revolves around the sun, you must know whether it revolves on a circle, or a ellipse, or any other curve, or curve at all.
But Newton never said, There’s no such thing as a flat-Earth.
The Flat Earth Society said the book’s claims about the earth’s shape are scientifically incorrect.
The American Mathematical Society, which publishes the American Mathematics Association, said the books claims about a flat Earth are scientifically inaccurate.
The International Academy of Earth Sciences said the theory of the Earth’s curvature is based on a flawed premise.
The Flat Earth Association says the Flat Earthers have a long history of denying the reality of the flat Earth and that its members have a vested interest in making this claim.
In the 1960’s and 1970’s, De Jong was among the early scientists who questioned the theory and its origins.
He wrote in his book, “The flat-Earthers were a fringe group that sought to discredit the whole flat- Earth theory.
They also used it to undermine the work of others who had found that the Earth was round.”
He added that, in a very brief period, the flat earthers created a “new scientific consensus.”
The flat earthas flat earth has become the standard by which other theories are evaluated.
Flat Earth proponents have claimed that the flat Earther theory has been falsified many times over.
They have said it has been debunked numerous times by numerous independent scientists.
And they have said that the scientific evidence for the flatEarther hypothesis is overwhelming.
The fact that the Flat earthats claim is accepted and accepted by numerous scientists around the world, shows that the theory is accepted, Dejong said.
De Jons book, Flat Earth, was published in June of 2017.
He is a former member of the National Academy of Sciences, a former president of the American Astronomical Society, and an honorary member of many of the top scientific societies in the United States and around the globe.
